Sage Tidbit #15: Actions Must Back Up Your Beliefs!

A tidbit is a small morsel…. of inspiration, insights, or lessons learned/tips to reflect on, and digest, over your week.

Belief + Action = Results

Last week, I talked about belief and the power of the mind and what’s possible. You can think and believe all you want, but if you don’t have accompanying action, not a lot is going to happen. So, it’s not ALL about JUST believing. It’s most important to engage in action that is aligned with what you believe.

If you say you believe something is possible or you want to achieve something, but don’t act on it or act in contrary to it, then you have to question, what do you REALLY believe? Is it your thoughts or emotions that are getting in the way?

When you align thoughts, emotions and actions, THAT is when the magic happens. It’s bound to. If you are not getting the results you want, what do you need to rework – your thoughts, emotions or actions?

Reflection Questions:

  • Where are your actions aligned with your belief about what is possible or what you want to achieve?

  • Where are you actions misaligned and why? Where are you not being honest with yourself?

  • How are you feeling about what is possible?

  • Where do you need to be more consistent, and maybe take a different kind of action?
